This journal needed updating bad...
So March is upon us. I threw two raves last month at Orion in downtown. Cupid's Inferno got 650 people and Utopia 5 got 850 before we took it upon ourselves to shutdown after 2 ODs. With everything that happened in RI and Chitown, James Hahn is taking this opportunity to get some press again (he complained openly that he felt ignored) and is pressuring any event with more than 50 people. Fire Marshalls came to both our events and could not find anything wrong, but after one person did GHB and the other person had "not slept for four days" (take guesses on what he was on) and required medical transports, we felt it unavoidable from the cops doing their deed, so we stole their fire and shutdown before the got there, needless to say they were disappointed.
Then this past weekend I went to a few friends of mine's gig at the SOHO and they got shutdown at 1:30 when the caught the owner had chained two back doors and also lied about the capacity saying it was 2500 (the number reached on inside) and actually was only between 1500-1700. Sucked for the promoters who are really cool guys and trying to keep the dnb alive.
Got two more events in the coming months, April 12 @ (Q) and May 10 at secret location.

you threw school functions? weren't they heavy?
i used to be a raverette. i even went to a party in LA, once.
well .. if memory serves, it was called VS and it was actually in an old theatre in san berdardino. i still have the flyer somewhere, but i definitely remember thee-o and ron d core. it was august 1999.
