On Sept. 5 in a segment airing on NPR's Market Place program former First Lady Barbara Bush said the following referring to the New Orleans evacuees now in the Astrodome:

" And so many of the people in the arena here, you
know, were underprivileged anyway, so this--this (she
chuckles slightly) is working very well for them."


This makes me very sad and very angry at the same time.

Barbara Bush is rumoured to be a flaming cunt. Coming from her, while being on the defensive due to her progeny's stupidity, I'm not surprised. blackeyed

I saw this comment in like 5 places. I also heard wolf blitzer say "they're so poor, so black, they may never get back on their feet" or something insane like that.
