Valentine's day was not really all that good, or bad for what it's worth. Day before I gave chocolates to a cute girl at work and got a hug for my troubles, nothing serious going on there, though. Had the day of off and just bummed around.

Aside from that, things are looking up. Got an opportunity to sell some comics, since there aren't any...

Congrats on selling the comics! It's always awesome when you can make a little bit of money off of what you put so much time, effort, cash and yourself into.

Would you want to do a trade? I'll send you a comic or drawing for one of yours.

Good luck with the lady!

thanks for the Happy Birthday wishes. Appreciate that. Congrats on selling the comic, that is awesome. Who did you end up selling it to? I would have bummed around on Valentine's Day, but I was at work, in seafood, selling people a shit-ton of lobsters. Hope everything is going ok with you. TTYL.

So, hey. No longer sick anymore. Woohoo. A week without being able to eat milk and dairy products was murder, especially when I do so love the sweets. Celebrated with a milkshake and pie.
girlysound:
Glad you are feeling better lady!

Ha, I would love a milkshake, I quit eating dairy a year ago and while I occasionally have cheese everything else is soy. You kind of get used to it I guess.

I'm feeling especially down lately. Between a seeming supernatural superpower to put my damn foot in my mouth metaphorically in every conversation I attempt to have and the crushingly depressive weight of the quickly approaching "You're Gonna Die Alone and Unloved with like Twelve Cats" day, I seem to have quickly ascended into the upper stratospheres of an ethereal funk. What most frustrates me is...

So I was supposed to meet up with an old friend from High School the other day, but I got stood up and was all about the feeling sorry for myself until I find out she had to take care of a sick infant. Now I feel crummy about feeling crummy and that is making me feel particularly crummy.

So, at the last moment, day after Christmas, the sky finally decides it's had enough of this wishy washy unseasonably warm Charlie Brown weather and lets out with a ridiculous snow. This is particularly distressing to me as I prefer my weather unseasonably warm.

Christmas this year was very humble, but I'm cool with that. We don't usually do the whole sha-bang about presents and...

Hope you find something fun to do lady!

It's getting to be that cold rainy season that always makes me feel terrible. There's like no sun, everything's barren and bugs start showing up more frequently inside than outside.

Lately, I keep getting reminded of my ex-girlfriends who I'm still on good terms with, though frankly I have every right not to be. It always kinda puts me into a funk until life gives...

With the change in management at my store, they're letting us do Halloween costumes! I'm gonna use the Knight costume I never got use out of last year. Also, been put back in the Halloween section at work. Love the merchandise, hate the mess. I still say, how do you restore order to a system when it's natural state is chaos?
girlysound:
this reminds me of working for a clothing store......in the summer...with the clearance racks which meant numerous tank tops. It was hell.

I'm happy you can dress up now and I hope to see Knight pictures!!

My bosses let me paint all over their walls. There are some perks to being an artist. Also, I've been looking into this community service job teaching art. Only problem is, I'm self taught. I mean, it doesn't look like it'll affect my hiring, but I'm not sure my methodology works for other people...
girlysound:
Thanks lady, I'm feeling a bit better and am back in the real world.

Congrats on getting the walls covered! Oh the perks of slinging paint. Good luck looking for a job teaching art. Who do you want to teach? Adults, kids? As long as you are guiding them and allowing them to experiment I'm sure they'll have a blast, also, I'm positive that you'll rock.
girlysound:
Yeah, it was time to slow it down a bit if ya know what I mean.
