Ok, haven't been on lately, been super-busy with everything. And I've got a commision with a due date which always makes me slack off.

It is totally, officially, Halloween season. This is the best season because it's all full of costumes and candy. Also it sparks an appreciation for monsters and ghouls and all that supernatural stuff that I just eat up.

It's also the season of vintage horror films. I mean, c'mon. Who needs all these guys in hockey masks and slow walking jerks and guys who think they're Batman Villanis when you have oh, say, the Monster From Id?


Forbidden Planet, now that's a movie. Mystery, suspense, class. That's how Monster Movies are done.

yeah, see, I've seen those big chocolate tombstones before, but I never thought I could actually eat one. Too much for me. Glad to see someone else that enjoys the Halloween season as much as I do. ^_^ And hell yeah, on the classic monster movies over the usual recent hack and slash fare they put out. I tell you, there was something about how they had to actually have a good story, and that they weren't limited to gimmicks to make the movie work. biggrin I have not seen Forbidden Planet, yet, I know, ashamed, but I am so going to put that on my list. Thanks for recommending it. biggrin
