Holiday commercials make me want to kill everyone in them and burn do…
As general rule, I'm always honest with important things that can a significant impact on the relationship.
Anything small that i figure can't possible harm the relationship, i don't mind not mentioning or lying about it. For exemple, telling my wife that i'm not mad or upset about something when I know that i'll get over it shortly.
If something makes me down right unhappy though, i'll be honest about it because it can be harmful in the long run.
