Finally back in the city. I'm entertaining international friends and trying to make my life seem more glamourous than it is. High culture can be cheap if you try.
Otherwise, good things are happening with the band. I'm really fucking excited for the next 6 mos. We never settled the band-name issue so we're sticking w/ the shadow boys for now. Maybe one day we'll learn to love it. All the other options so far felt like shit after like 24 hours.
Besides all these things, my only concern is money. I haven't exactly set myself up for enough work this fall. I'm so fucking bad at feeding myself. I could definitely entertain myself and be totally productive without having a job. Employment is entirely overrated.

and i for one could find ways to entertain myself foreva without a job. just reading all of the books on one shelf in the library would prolly take a lifetime or so.
