I prefer hope to success .

Success is just a fleeting moment , which is quickly , moved aside , turned over and forgotten, once achieved. Replaced by one younger , stronger and just an inch further out of reach.

Hope on the other hand lasts as long as you want it to , and is as strong and as tensile as you need it to be.

I hope i dont succeed to soon.

When i think about the times i have been happiest , i was just a little boy who's horizon was never ending. Possibilities were limitless , but my concerns were more to do with climbing the nearest tree or leaping over puddles , and sometimes leaping into puddles.
Today , now that i can see where my world ends , and my possibilities are written on a piece of paper, and a knowing look from a loved one.

I think of the happy little kid and what he would do .

So i go and i climb a tree , but a much bigger one this time.
