Self Pity ? ..............Pas Je!
And guys when we say we are shooting someone in the face over here it really is just a turn of phrase as we have no guns, well not many anyhoo. Thanx for the concern though.
Any way Iv been thinkin,,,,,,,,,,,,,dangerous i know. Im pissed of with having to call Australia at like 6 am to catch business hours,,,, it sucks. On the other hand being out of sync with the US makes me feel a lot safer at night, knowing old Georgy bush is probably tucked up in bed when i am out getting drunk ,neverthe less i am sure there are downsides aswell.
My solution ,,,,we have a global time sync.
I know what your thinking , preppy the night and day thing? Yes but i don't believe its ever been thought through,,,,,,,,,, not using my brain anyway.
seeing as the UK and US start the most wars i reckon we would get a shot at first choice.
On behalf of my country i would like to nominate the start of out Working day to be 3 am.
Benefits :
A]Working at night is fine , most of us work indoors over here anyway, and when it is sunny over here ( rare i know) we never get to appreciate it until 5-6pm when the best has gone.
B] That means we would get to go out at night when its sunny, wow. Instead of going out drinking in the cold and dark with all these creepy people about we could sit out in the sun and go to the beach and stuff, sooooo much better.
C] If people didn't want to drink they could do something more constructive at night, like train in some sport and this may give us a chance not to suck so badly at the Olympics again.
Now the ideal scenario would be to keep the US as it is ,because lets face it , you've got some real nutter's over there ,along side weapons of mass destruction, and changing night to day for them would surely just be a means to an end for all of us .
Australia on the other hand could do with more night time during the day as its far too hot to work over there and they are already way too good at sports.
The dilemma is,,,,, for that would work if you swapped countries, which seems fare. You guys just colonise Australia and they could take over US soil. It would be fine , there are the aborigines to deal with but hey it would just be the old cowboys and indians all over again . Think of it ,strolling in to town with your six-shooter again, to some outback bar , outlaws , rustling cattle ( maybe Kangaroos) , burlesque performances in every town . You could call yourself names like Lucky Joe and The Koala Kid and other cool stuff like that

My personal recommendation for you would be to nominate to your legislature that the wayward Aussies be reeled back into Britannia's loving arms, and that they be forced to ignore their local time and use standard UK time instead.
Oh, and I did not try to get my g/f sick, man! That's just low!
