Like finding a pocket of air in space, I have found time to update my journal. Going home this weekend was delicious and nutritious, I both had fun and got a decent amount of school work done. J-Bonez, Loremaster, Maia, and I came down in order to get at least half of us tattooed. This mission was a resounding success, brandy and cigars were distributed. Jeff got an astrocyte tattooed on his shoulder that looks a something like this:
Only his is in black. Consider this fan service for the endocrinology buffs out there: an astrocyte is a glial cell found in the brain and spine. They make up the blood brain barrier and regulate ion flow. When asked Jeff either gives that spiel or he says that he was stabbed by a deadite in the shoulder with a pencil.
Maia got her tattoo filled in, it's pretty. I wanted to get my tattoo but more time was needed for planning. I'm taking the plunge you see. This will be my first big piece: either a half sleeve or that lengths equivalent on my ribs. Of what you ask. Of motherfuckin this:
The whole thing is going on there: Spidey, the buildings, the sunset. My kids are going to love me when I show their future dates my Spider-Man tattoo,
Should take 3 to 4 sittings, got my deposit down, there is no stopping me.

In related happenings, Nikkita hungout with me all weekend as well. We had more fun than the Hulk could shake his fist at (sorry, I get in these modes). It's really great where we're at now. I was really afraid for a while there I was going to lose a close friend and confidant. Thankfully, this is not the case. I have to admit she is above and beyond not only the best but my favorite as well. She and I spent an interesting and long time Fri. at the Lazy Moon while my NCF compatriots cowered pathetically in the car. In their defense we didn't expect to wait that long for one slice of pizza and they didn't expect to see a fight, public urination, the contemporary version of clubbing a mate and dragging her to your dank cave (taking her clubbing, getting her wasted, and then dragging her to your dank cave), and gorillas taking an interest in my car and bouncing on the bumper. The story varies by who tells it. The other version is football players, but Lauren swears by gorillas. On Sat. we got to visit DJ G-Ram and company. Nikkita fell asleep early cause she was all tuckered out and after a brief nap my own self we (the whole lot of us minus the sleepy one) played BS. I won the last game. Hooray for me.

This journal has gone on long enough. I haven't even reached Sunday yet. Oh well. Another time I suppose. Seriously though you guys, please give me feedback on FTW #1. We're going to work on 2 and 3 this weekend and I'd like a quasi-outside opinion of our work. # 1 is located in my pics folder but I'll post what can fit here too.
So opinions? Critiques? Hate mail? Solicitations for nude photos? Whatever, just tell me what you think of this thing.

EDIT: I changed my pic back b/c I like it better. I picked up a DS the day before they announced the US DS lite launch which couldn't be me luck any more if it tried. But on the bright side I made the best avatar in Mario Kart ever (maybe pics if I'm that pathetic).
