So this week in meddling: I'm trying to hook my friends Laura and Jeff up. They are both rarely single and even more rarely with people who appreciate them. They are two of my best friends at this God damned school and they are also both totally great people. They're both the type of person who buys significant others "just because presents", which says a lot about how they are the rest of the time in the relationship. Plus, both of them seem to be on dangerous paths which in the foggy distance leads to their respective and horrible exes.

Jeff's ex Maia treated him like a misbehaving puppy 24/7. Nothing Jeff did was ever good enough, fast enough, or done correctly. When all Jeff wanted to do was love on Maia, Maia was trying to find the most efficient and proper way to be a total bitch. To provide a bit more back story, Maia was a friend of mine but then she either went insane or let the mask slip. She used to have a crush on me while I was dating Nikkita and tried to covertly break us up. When her efforts in this direction were frustrated she actually tried to stage an intervention about Nikkita and I. This is the kind of devious, underhanded hijinks this girl tries to pull. While she was dating Jeff she accepted gifts from and talked romantically to her ex fianc who is a marine and a douchetastic example of one at that. When Jeff found a love letter from this guy to Maia while he was feeding her hamster, Jeff flipped out. One, because Maia was keeping this a secret and two, because she was visiting the douche at the time. Now that she coming back to NCF, she wants to rekindle the old flame with Jeff. Jeff still has feelings for her to a degree so a risk is present for disaster. Not on my fucking watch.

Laura ex Dave is by far one of the worst people to ever exist. He wrecked Laura's car, whines and bitches when she hangs out with her friends, cheated on her, and did any number of abusive and manipulative shit to her. Every time I see him it is in exercise in restraint, because all I want is to END this guy in the most gratuitous and violent ways possible for what he did to Laura. This girl is one of the sweetest and cutest girls to ever exist, and he continuously brings her down emotionally. Just so everyone knows, Dave is that really ugly guy who gets the girls because he is "charming". Here's the other thing, he is ugly on every level. There isn't a single good thing about him, period. This guy has to keep on finding new friends every year because he runs off his old ones. Now he's making an attempt to get back with Laura. Problem is he is making better headway with Laura than Maia is with Jeff. I refuse to sit idly by and watch Laura be miserable again. I refuse.

So that's basically the back story. I have hatched a plan to unite the good and vanquish the evil. I'll keep the world, i.e. the two or three people who read this, updated. Maybe I'll even find some pictures so you all can know exactly what I mean.
