another friend wants me to read this book in a bad way,.. gave it to me weeks ago..

gonna take it with me to the plasma center.... try to make some headway... it's not nearly as entertaining as a good scifi book.
i was dickin around with the powerbook last night... still can't get it to boot from the hard drive. so i'm going to save up a few bucks and get a replacement. they're not much. which is good, because i doubt it will fix it. might as well upgrade the ram too. just want another working computer draining electricity... haha.. no not really. i just don't like not being able to fix things..
also grabbed the old compaq from the attic. i seem to be missing the left screen mount. and it doesn't look like i finished putting the screen back together all the way. i got it to post last night, but i had to hold pressure on the screen to see anything... will work on that tonight.. and hopefully that mount will turn up some place.... it's been in many pieces for way too long. (my plan was to turn it into a picture frame.. but the hardware is so bulky that it's not so much of a frame....)
oh yeah.. the keyboard isn't working on the powerbook either.... oh well..

Well when it is turned off and I try to turn it on you will see the little apple and then the pinwheel goes around a couple of time and then it will shut back off, the only way I can get it up and running is do the safe boot thing and when I do that there are things that wont work, like I have no sound right now, it sucks so bad.
My printer is 5 feet long and about 3 feet tall and can print photos up to 4 feet tall, if Im ever going to have a print shop Im going to need a computer that can be printing full time and I would use the other computer I get to do a lot of the other stuff, Im sure when I wasnt printing I might use the old one for a couple of other things.
