Hi Rain.
What name? Mine? Wierd juxtoposition of the words 'curious' and 'girl'. Think what you like.
So the rain might get old, but grey skies never do. And this cooler weather! I love it. I could never live down here permanently. it is just to darn hot.
Yes, I have been to Scotland many times. I too love it there. If I had no reservations about changing one corrupt government for another, and if I did not have dear family on this side of the pond, I would just head over for good. I understand your feeling entirely.
Hey- where is your journal update?
Glad to hear that you fell for a little cat. Pets are good for you. Don't forget to get it spayed/neutered. I'm a big fan of pet population control.
Ok- question time. In school for a masters just to amuse myself. I don't have a favorite area in Scotland... I love the whole place. But I consider the area just between Stirling and the Trossachs 'home'. As for me, no, I am not a Kentuckian. Far from it. I'd melt. (though, silly as it may sound, I do find that it is 'that friendly' for the most part) I'm a Buckey/Hoosier. Mostly Buckey.
It is only Monday night. *sigh* there is so much work to do yet this week!
If you do not like Winchester and love Scotland, why not move? If you studied another European language or two, you could surely line up a job in Glasgow working with IBM or another international company working in customer service to the continent. Not a great job, but it would get you to Scotland
