Egads! I just got my health insurance bill and - Happy Birthday to ME - my premium went WAAAAAAY up.
I just turned 35. So far, that hadn't really meant very much. I mean, I got some nice cards and birthday gifts, but otherwise it was a pretty normal day.
To my insurance company, however, turning 35 was a big deal. For as much as they raised my premium, you'd think I was going to have a heart attack, gall bladder surgery, and a kidney transplant TOMORROW.
But it's not true.
I'm just the same as I ever was.
Except, of course, my wallet is a little lighter.
