Yay for practice night
yeah.. I actually had something to look forward to today....
It's nice having Jon back in the band... We spent the entire year auditioning guitarists, only to have our original 2nd guitarist come back.. No hard feelings.. we are actually a band again!!!! Writing lots of new material. We plan on playing about 50% new material for our next show (jon's first show back) on December 6th Punk Rock Night. The new songs completely kick ass.. some of them are leftover ideas from before Jon quit the band.. some of them are completely brand new.. they all rock!! Yes.. I'm excited about playing music again.. I was wondering when that might happen....
I spent a good portion of today being bitter, hateful, resentful and self-loathing.. I'm glad that I got over it.
Thanks to fudzine for taking me to get some lunch and buy drumsticks and what not. It's nice to have good friends and neighbors.. I'm gonna miss you when liz finally moves to town and you don't live next door anymore...

oh.. and I finally moved all of the ex's shit out of my house... it's boxed up nice and neatly and sitting on my porch... Dunno if she cares about any of this stuff, but if she does, I imagine she'll eventually come and pick it up.. Aside from the few articles of clothing that she took with her when she moved out (most of which were mine), this is pretty much everything she owns... you'd think she'd want it... for some reason, she thinks that I'm supposed to bring it to her or mail it to her.. maybe it was something I said.. yes.. In a moment of weakness, I made a promise that I never intended to keep.. I've already apologized for that.. now she can come get her crap...
