So much to do... So little time
Yeah.. today was much better than the past couple of days. I think I've finally caught up on my sleep.. and this is just in time for the weekend no sleep marathon that I'm about to embark on.
I think I will get a little bit of sleep tonight, then get up about 7am so that I can meet Hot Damn! at the studio. They have been kind enough to ask me to play drums on their next record which will be released on Steel Cage Records. Hell.. I'd do it for free even if the record was never going to come out just because I've been promised a super-duper vegan meal out of the deal, plus I get to hang out with two very beautiful women in the studio all day
With any luck, I'll be wrapping up at the studio just in time to get my ass to work. Hopefully we'll be busy and it will be a high-cash night. I hate it when everyone pays with credit cards because I have to wait to get my tips until the next paycheck.
When I get home tomorrow, I have got to start on my Calculus and C Programming study-a-thon. I have tests in both classes on Monday.. I'm assuming that there will be lots of coffee and very little sleep in store for me until I get both of these tests under my belt..
Those Damned Kids!!!
ummm... the one annoyance that I did have today was that the hotel that I work in is completely full of pre-teen and teenage kids. We have these glass elevators and they all think they're a ride at Kings Island or something.. it's really annoying when you're trying to get to work (on the top floor) and the elevator stops at every floor so the kids can get on and off and play around... I try to remember that when I was much younger, I did my fair share of playing around on these glass elevators.. One of my high school crushes and I used to go down to this same hotel that I work in and make out on the elevators while we rode them up and down the 24 floors... hehehe.. but that's a story for another day....
