Most things in life just aren't cut and dried. There's much more grey than black and white. Most decisions aren't really forever, because most people change and grow. Wounds that don't kill you will heal with time, and if they're given enough attention, the scars might not even be as bad as you expected. Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone deserves a second chance, but after that, extra chances have to be earned. Trust that has been lost can be regained, but that also has to be earned. I've said this before, but it bears repeating: the most important part of any good relationship is open, honest communication.
