Shameless self promotion (in case anyone actualy reads this...):

Hello everyone, and welcome to Endeavor Press's latest newsletter!

I hope 2006 is treating you all well so far.

It's been a while since I posted anything to the mailing list, so I wanted to give everyone an update about what's going on currently.

First thing, I'm completely sold out of the Limited Edition of Tom Piccirilli's "Fuckin' Lie Down Already." So if you don't already have one on your shelf, you can't get one from me. There may be a few stores out there who still have some for sale, and good luck finding them, but the well is dry folks! If you want a copy now, you're on your own.

I *do* however have copies of a trade paperback edition of FLDA! This version contains all the same beautiful Caniglia cover art and interior artwork as the limited edition, for just $11.95!! If you've been wanting to read the story you've heard so much about, but didn't want to spend the money for a fancy collector's edition, then now's your chance to get it!

Secondly, The Limited Edition version of Brian Lumley's "The House of the Temple" is close to being gone as well. This has been a very popular book, and if you haven't gotten one already, your time is running out! There are no current plans to produce a trade paperback version of this book, though I reserve the right to change my mind if there is enough demand for it.

Speaking of "The House of the Temple," The traycases for the Lettered Edition are still being produced. I apologize for the lengthy delays on this version, but the traycases are being hand produced, one at a time, so each one will be completely unique! All 52 have already been spoken for, so if you wanted one, you're too late now. But since none of them have been paid for yet, I will be maintaining a waiting list, in case any of the preorders falls through.

Third up, The Limited Edition of Al Sarrantonio's "The Pumpkin Boy" is more than 2/3 sold out, and with only 200 copies produced, they will be gone soon. This is a great story, and the latest in Al's "Orangefield Cycle." Though it ties in to the rest of his Orangefield books, this one does stand on its own, and you won't want to miss it!

And lastly, only 1/4 of Gary Braunbeck's chapbook "We Now Pause For Station Identification" are left!! This fantastic signed limited edition chapbook is currently on the final ballot for the Bram Stoker Award, and at only $9.95 with FREE shipping when you order it directly from Endeavor Press, it's hard to pass up! As a special treat, Gary's website now has FREE video of Gary reading the story LIVE at the World Horror Convention 2005 in New York City!! Not only is he an incredible writer, but he delivers a fantastic reading of the story that will have you in tears!

Upcoming News: There are two projects currently in the works. The first is an original signed, limited edition chapbook by Tim Lebbon, titled, "Heaven Allowed Herself a Smile." There will be 500 copies of this chapbook produced, just as there was for "We Now Pause", and I am also looking at having hardcover, leather bound lettered editions of both chapbooks produced. The second project is Endeavor Press's first anthology, "Dueling Minds" edited by Brian Freeman, with stories by Gary Braunbeck, Brian Keene, Tom Piccirilli, Tim Lebbon, and Gerard Houarner. This book will be a hardcover limited edition, but will NOT be part of the Endeavor Press novelette series. Both projects should be released before the end of 2006.

Now, on a more personal note: Some of you who know me (or just saw me at the World Horror Convention 2006 in San Francisco) are already aware of this, but for those who are not, Endeavor Press is not my full time gig. I do this on the side, for the love of the books and the horror/science fiction field. The reason you haven't heard much from me in the past year is that I've been going back to school at (and now for something *completely* different) the Chicago School for Massage Therapy. I will be graduating this coming fall, and am looking for ward to a lucrative career in the field of massage therapy. Though it might sound tangential from publishing and bookselling at first, what it will do is allow me the flexibility and (more importantly) the increased income to continue to focus on publishing books with Endeavor Press. In the short term (until I graduate), school is my top priority, and Endeavor Press has taken a back seat, but this will change by year's end.

As always, I thank you all for your interest in Endeavor Press, and for your continued support!

Take care,
Roger Range
