My cat monster finally went to the vet. I rode out my New Year Hangover waiting in the vet's office for four fucking hours. They say this is a big city. I don't believe them; afterall, there is only one vet open on holidays. Anyway, he cleaned her up and put a drain in the wound. Not much has drained though, so I think we got all the ick out, but it was a surprisingly large pocket of ick. Now the poor beast is hating life in an e-collar and being force fed some antibiotics. The drain will come out today (aw shit, I should get dressed and get her over there). But otherwise the cat is all furry and such.
