I just saw a billboard for a radio station that said "Our listeners live longer."
It was pretty funny, but I'm not sure exactly what the hell they meant by it.
In other current events... I haven't been on the site much, so please no one take absence from commenting in journals as uninterest. I'm just keeping myself busy with other things lately; self taught dreamweaver, self taught flash, self taught guitar, which is reeeeaaaally fuckin slow going. Basically a lot of things that are taking way too long to do because I don't know anyone else who knows how to do them, or the people I DO know who could teach me aren't up the same hours I am.
I occasionally get on sg chat at work to try and keep in touch, but the text moves so damn fast that I can't watch it all... I have to close the window between comments, and when I open the window again, I have no clue what the new topic is. Soooo... I hop in, lurk for a while, and say something not-so-funny... and disappear again.
Tonight, I found out that the super chinese buffet that I go frequent on weekends has sushi durring the week too! I thought it was a weekend thing, but hot damn! I'm all excited now! Not that I'm a huge sushi fan, but I like it a little, and when it's included in the price of the buffet... ahhhhhh shit, you know what time it is
Anyway, this George Carlin quote is loosely tied to the fact that everyone I talk to seems to think it's cute that my wife and I want a GF, but that no one wants to BE the gf.

you don't even know what county you live in? hehe well did you get hit by a tornado? yeah it didn't even storm here. it just rained...the cable went out for like a minute...so that's good.
