Well, I have officialy started to work on tattoo art.

I'm at the immersion stage, reading books, getting more and more familiar to the themes, styles and artists... not to mention on how to work with the tools.

Coming from a totally visually oriented background and been drawing since I was a kid I think the process may take a while but I will certainly enjoy this ride.

this is based on a Barbie doll photo I took, but the damn ipad kept moving... lol using it as a lightbox


a fly based on another photo I took. i like this concept of taking photos of real stufff and converting it to an old-school styled drawing


First artificial skin. The worst part is the excess ink that covers the needle. Damn...
The dragon and skull were freehanded with the machine, no sketch.
I have to open the needle with heat, lines are too thin.


this is what I missed when I did the Fujin self tattoo... a working stencil.


And for a few bucks a got myself this kicking ass stamp for my soon-to-come flash sheets.
The plan is to make a new one each year and keep track of the stuff.
