There is always something mildly comfortable about being in a state of complete and utter exhaustion. Whether it be from working or playing hard, it just plain feels great.

So after an amazing long weekend, what do I have to show for it. Sadly nothing you can feast your eyes on as of yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I might have something sometime in the next little bit, highlighting on last nights foray into the underworld that is kink.

So the weekends exploits are as follows:

- Gain a mild, budding addiction to Guitar Hero 3. Kept telling myself It would never happen, but once I had "axe" in hand, nobody could kill the metal...

- Beat Mario Kart Wii's single player Grand Prix up to 150cc. Took tons of concentration and caffeine, but they all bit the dust in the end.

- Mosh to a symphonic metal band. Again I never saw it coming, but once the pumping, jumping and elbowing starts there is no stopping the beast. Never underestimate the therapeutic nature of a live metal concert, because rocking out always seems to leave me with the feeling of completely new blood pumping through these veins come the next morning. Nightwish was absolutely brilliant.

- Experience the most intense culture shock I have ever been faced with. At the evening kink function I attended, I couldn't help but feel totally isolated at the beginning. Fortunately the kink community is very welcoming to those that are willing to explore, and between old high school girls I haven't seen In years (some wearing outfits a young man often only dreams about) to the greasy old guys with their lashes and bum paddles, it doesn't take long to feel at least a little more comfortable.

- Wear one of the most outrageous outfits I have ever worn. I got a lot of mixed critiques on it at the night of the party, anywhere from "hot" to "metro" to "downright gay" , please pardon the term. You will surely all get a peek and will be free to leer and trash me soon enough. One thing is for sure though, it was probably one of the most comfortable outfits I've ever worn.

- Grow an appreciation for the kink that is the electrocution fetish. Ok, this ones gonna be a little weird to explain. Firstly, lashing, spanking and tape bondage do nothing for me. Yes I observed, but nothing, just not my cup of tea. Then I came an upon odd little asian girl holding a metal rod. Curiously I inquired, only to be met with a quick swat to my exposed forearm, and the feeling of every muscle in my arm spasm. Shocked and amazed at the feeling I asked for another sample, only this time she lightly dragged the rod from the base of my neck, down my shoulder to the inside of my elbow. Call me a freak if you must, but that light burn and muscle tension truly felt amazing.

So, I guess in conclusion, all in all it was an amazing weekend.
