Blog time.
Just got back from the Nightwish concert. The music was excellent, the mosh pit was brutal, and the damage to my person minimal. Probably sweated through 3 bottles of water and might take a few days for all the hearing to be back to normal.
I was mildly surprised that Sonic Syndicate was the opening band due to the slight, but definable differences between them and Nightwish. Obviously they are both metal, but some would think it foolish for a death metal band to open for a symphonic metal band. Of course maybe I reads into things too much.
So yeah, two bands I'd recommend to the metal connoisseur if you haven't heard them already.
