I haven't blogged in ages but there's news - I'm in Alta, Norway again!
I'm here for two weeks and most of my time will be spent getting young bands in the studio. For many of them, it will be their first time, so my job is not so much to produce amazing recordings of them, but rather to give them a feel for the studio environment - it's very different to a practice room!
For the last weekend, I will be recording a band I worked with in the summer called Astatines, from Btsfjord. Really good bunch of lads and I'm happy to be working with them again. This will also be used for a university assessment. You can listen here: www.myspace.com/astatines
