I must admit, I'm quite surprised by the response to my last blog. Pleasantly so! I haven't been blogging that much lately because uni's just ridiculous at the minute. We're in at either 9:30am or 10:00am every day, and I usually don't get home and finish my out-of-class work (research, reading) until around 7 or 8pm. I'm often recording on the weekends, or completing more work. I have very little free time, which means that I'm not doing very much to speak of, so this blog is reflecting my ultimately unsatisfying life. It's also directly affecting my drinking habits - I'm not going out nearly enough, not even for a quiet pint. Do I have a problem? Probably.

In any case, I'm booking as many gigs as I can because I need a diversion. Coming up:

6/6 - Rage Against The Machine (free gig in Finsbury Park, London)

That's the last weekend of this year in uni too. Then I'm off on cricket tour 10th - 13th June. I think it's to Tewkesbury this year.

As for now, I have a beast of a cold and I feel generally crap. My mate Joe's coming over for an afternoon of recording though. Nothing that a good songwriting/recording session, a shitload of orange juice and a fat Gregg's steak bake can't fix.
