All work complete! Audio signal processor files e-mailed at 7:30am, write-up submitted at 11:30am. I currently have an Australian Couchsurfer staying with me until he flies out to Amsterdam early Wednesday morning.
Tonight's plan of action: pub quiz in my uni's bar at 9pm, after that it's to the Raz. The Blue Angel, commonly known as the Raz, is the utopia of students everywhere. On Monday nights, it's 1.50 entry... and 70p a pint. Back the fuck up, that's right, 70p a pint. Strongbow, Guinness, Foster's, Kronenbourg... 70 pence. You can go out with a tenner, get slaughtered and still have enough for chips on the way home.
Tomorrow's gonna be a spot of sight-seeing, and an early night because he's getting up at (or staying up until) 4am Wednesday morning. Wish I was going with him to Amsterdam, and in theory there's nothing stopping me, but considering how much I've spent on gig tickets lately I'd probably do well to save my money. I can't even justify the (fine, don't let me use the pound sign) GBP12.50 for Dan Auerbach's (The Black Keys) solo show in Manchester... mind you, I wasn't a huge fan of the solo album.
