@missy and @rambo wanted to know what kind of a dance we would like to see in a Blackhearts Burlesque show. I thought long and hard on the subject because I do Classical and Neo burlesque and I wanted to make sure I picked something to match their style more then what I normally do.
I first wanted to come up with a theme that is both cool and nerdy with a heavy dose of sexy mixed in, and then I had a brainwave: Fifth Element Burlesque!
The costumes are sexy already, you could even use a remix of the opera song from the scene when the ship starts getting attacked. It would be really cool with some choreographed fighting in the mix. Just thinking about this makes me want to don s Leelu costume and run around town as her. I think it could be a very cool addition to the show, possibly a solo with two supportive dancers to fight and dance with the star. @liryc could be Leelu for sure.
I don't know if any of these blogs will actually turn into dances for the actual Blackhearts Burlesque show, I guess I will find out when I see it. Those of you who haven't gotten tickets yet, DO IT!
