Thought I ought to catch up on my homework. I never seem to get these things done on time, it's like High School all over again ;)
1. I have been in 12 musicals throughout my life starting at the age of 8. I no longer act really but I won't lie some songs still come up in mind all the time. My favorite I was in was Fame when I was 13 and my two favorites that I have seen are The Lion King and Les Miserables because the stage shows are epic and very unique.
2. I love classic Science Fiction novels- H.G. Wells, Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut, George Orwell, Oscar Wilde and Jules Verne are a few of my favorites.
3. I like cheesy socks, in my collection I have had donuts, several different owls, robots, Jack, many stripe patterns, polka dots, neon, rainbows, cats, bears and fruits. As well as many others which I can no longer remember because socks always seem to run away one way or another.
4. I have never been away from my Husband longer than a week since the day we met. <3
5. I am so allergic to Coconut that I used to have to carry an Epinephrine Pen. After my second pregnancy my allergy has seemingly become less severe, I only have irritation rashes now instead of anaphylaxis. I even got to have a medical single dorm room in college because coconut is in everything.
6. I am going to begin homeschooling my children next year. I have lost faith in the public school system in my city, and I no longer trust them to provide my daughters the education they deserve. I know I can provide and very fun and interesting learning environment where they can pursue what interests them and we can learn the basics along the way.
7. I have always had cats, I cannot imagine my life without a cuddly companion. My cats are named The Cheat and Harlequin, the Cheat is a very big and very dopey all black male and Harlequin is a sweet snuggler and cunning mouser tortoiseshell female.
8. I love anime, scratch that CARTOONS! My favorite series is Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. It is super dark and incredibly deep, I love it. I have memorized almost all of the lines in Invader Zim and will never stop watching it. My favorite children's series is Avatar: The Last Airbender/The Legend of Korra. I love that the show has a cohesive timeline and that the story is new and refreshing.
9. I have anxiety issues...big time. I suffered some childhood trauma and I now cope with PTSD. It is a huge struggle in my life but I am avidly working on climbing over this hurtle. I have hard time talking about it because I am afraid of how people will react to me at times. I have been socially awkward my whole life and I am now learning how to be less weird...little by little.
10. I made every single decoration for my wedding from scratch and recycled materials. In total our wedding cost under $6000, most of which was catering and booze. side note: I was very drunk at my wedding and I am glad we put the time in for the personal touches ahead of time even though it was mostly a big drunken party :)
