I have a new profile picture. I think it makes me loook very thoughtful and intelligent. (cue Hethral laughing)

Serenity is a week away. That's right. Not only have I already seen it once, I'm seeing it again. Yes: I am an asshole. (cue Hethral nodding)

There is a discussion on the photography group about digital B&W. It prompted me to do a little Googling and I found some stuff about it at the Adobe site. A few minutes later, I've downloaded an action that does some fancy footwork for you. Hey presto! New profile picture in B&W. It looks okay, I think. Even if it's a picture of me. I'd far prefer to have a picture of one of my favourites up there. They're my favourites, after all.

Speaking of which, I think I might change them up. Maybe throw in someone who doesn't have dark hair and dark eyes. Sounds kinda crazy, but it just might work!

A little trivia: "work" and "walk" sound exactly the same when Japanese people try to say them. You wouldn't think it would be an issue, but I have a job, I frequently go for walks and I have some Japanese friends. Language and pronunciation is fun. I really enjoyed listening to my Quebecois friend try to order some Grand Marnier here in Vancouver. If he pronounces it correctly, nobody knows what he's talking about. It reminded me of the scene in Holy Grail where one of the French soldiers doesn't understand until he gets an English translation.
