bender of a weekend. friday night went well, particularly my little star wars mix that starts with star wars theme i found then segues into this hilarious disco version. i love it.
ended up at some indie party at the abercrombie hotel called purple sneakers or something. never been to an indie party before, and i think 2:30am after a lethal quantity of alcohol may have been the perfect time. it was hedonism, people pashing on everywhere, broken glass all over the court yard, generally trashyness everywhere. so many funky indie people, was all very amusing for me, although i got the impression i needed an old school beatles haircut that goes over my ears and a pair of rectangular glasses to fit in, but i did my best anyway. very novel to be out at a party where electronic music isn't the reason everyone's there.
satdy drove up to the blue mountains in a random escapade that involved a hung over breakfast, a spontaneous idea, a car, an esky, a lot of laughs, 5 minutes of bushwalking, more beer, and more laughs, and hours of happily drunken singing in the back seat on the way home.
went to a party at a local pub afterwards for my friend's sister-in-law's party, and my god, i am in love with that woman. my personal definition of what makes someone attractive. natural, smiling, funny, chatty, and sexy as fuck... been briefly down that path before and the door may still be open but hmmm. ah well no rush i suppose, but i'm definatly going to make sure i spend more time hanging out with her again. she's fabulous.
what's messy or wonderful in your love life at the moment? do you suffer from the grass is always greener disease too?
