went to the film festival last night to see a screening of one of the short films i worked on over christmas. it was quite a thrill. it looked at sounded amazing on the big screen. and was very novel to be one of the wanky film-maker type people rather than just an observer.uts-> tropfest->sydney film festival it's got to be berlin and cannes next daaaarling 
back on planet earth i did some work on home and away yesterday, recording the foley, which is all the little incidenetal sounds that can't be cut in. was lots of laughs, although the guy i'm working with tells people he's unemployed rather than admit to working on home and away. hehehe.
am back into my turntables again for the first real time this year, it's great to be excited and having fun with it again. it's all thanks to this one record i dug out and listened to and it inspired my to get going again. also i found a empire strikes back, record at vinnes with all the dialogue and sound effects and stuff. too much fun to scratch with.... my new demo cd is going to be funking awesome.
