okay i'm facing another day of boredom at work, there really is NOTHING to do. except for organising my sound effect libraries, there's nothing quite so stimulating at going through 100 different light switch sound and trying to give them all unique names and descriptions. "light switch brooding" "light switch purple" "light switch edgy-dangerous" are a few favourites from when things start getting a little...

i am going to do the one year working holiday thing in europe after i finish my studies. i know, it's boring and everyone does it. but i totally feel in love with london and antwerp and rome when i was there last year and it is exciting to think that one day i will see those places again and actually live in them! and i am so super shy, it will be a good coming-out-of-my-shell experience [i hope].

the travelator closes at 5.45pm because of people like you. it is under hyde park. that is all i am saying...

another booze free weekend!! scary

all this sober energy and excess intake of orange juice can make a man feel funny... only a couple of weeks to go, planning on breaking the drought at the 'sydney funk and soul festival' which will be a jamming party and one too good to be sipping orange juice and seaking praise from my friends for my abstinence. its...

On my ecousitc I sound on the folky side. On my electric I sound like 60's Brit.

Congrats on the sobriety... It's a difficult thing.

And thanks for the bday wishes...

NZ sounds absolutely amazing. But I think I might go to Peru, bc it's SO MUCH more affordable.

...

NZ someday, though...

i needed to be held after sigur ros. it was so moving and emotional and weak at the knees. i sort looked out for you, but there were lots of tall boys with short girls!
marni:
you crazy! your comment had me laugh. i don't want to end up broken and i don't want to break hearts! i guess what i'm trying to say is that what i have now is really sweet and all that but i just know it will end badly and it will hurt. it always does. but you are right. i can't help how i feel and i should savour it while i have it.

i like listening to the end of the song before i turn my car's ignition off. if there's something good on the radio, i can be seen sitting grinning to myself in a parked car until i get self conscious and get out.

it distresses me that i never see other people sitting in parked cars grinning to themselves.

i get a little thrill if...

bender of a weekend. friday night went well, particularly my little star wars mix that starts with star wars theme i found then segues into this hilarious disco version. i love it.

ended up at some indie party at the abercrombie hotel called purple sneakers or something. never been to an indie party before, and i think 2:30am after a lethal quantity of alcohol...

hi

sunday afternonon, a friend's over playing "rez" on ps2. ever played it? probably the most blatantly drug targeted computer game i have ever seen.

it was thrust into my hands at a party last night by a rather eccentric english friend of mine "geezer-tom" with the words " you have to take and play this," and he was right. its crazy. its essentially the...
