Not so much a blog, but an observation.
Anyway this indie movie I'm directing...and wrote...has 5 great perfect for the roll actors...(you've heard of them, i swear) and still NO MONEY. Which happens.
It is what it is. Except that it turns out that the person who reps the film for financing HASN'T DONE SQUAT for the last 3 weeks. And we're supposedly shooting next month.
We wasted 3 weeks. Not taking the film to financiers. Not following up. And every day we don't have a difinitive start date is a day one of these said actors could say..."hey, I got to take a job. Sorry."
So we're busting ass. Making up for lost time and negligence. Sigh.
