my favorite thing about having a new profile picture is looking at it next to my pale, canadian ass of earlier days. oh man.

on the topic of canada, it is become clearer as days past, that canada misses me, and wants me back in her tends grasp. alas, that isn't possible so canada has come to the oc. what in the hell is going on with this weather?! last week, songs were sung in tank tops beneath the sun's warm rays.. now? there are icicles. in california. okay, maybe not, but i had to wear an oversized jacket today, and i was not impressed.

but at least i am not as sick as i was last weekend. friday was spent in bed. saturday wasn't very much better, but on the plus side of things, i did manage to watch a whole lot of battlestar galactica, and oh boy do i love that show. i'm in the midst of catching up thanks to netflix. despite a messed up labeling system. dude, seriously, why is disc one entitled disc 2: disc 1 of season 1? not only that, but why is there disc 1, 2, 3 and 5? poor four.

in my sickness, i did miss out on a guitar hero party. i think it ended being kind of not cool, considering there was only one guitar over there. and they ended up playing a kareoke game, in which the top scorer achieved said score by humming. but whatever, if i had gone, i would totally dress up like this. again. and rocked out with just as much determination.
