I'm ill.

It's really not tooi pleasant at all. I seem to have developed some form of tonsilitis and my throat is now the size of a very small thing.

I am slightly irked about how work handled this today. I told my manager I was ill, but I always try to go in to work no matter what, it's my opinion that if I'm being paid to do something I'd better bloody well do it!

So, rather than go home ill or any such thing I ask my manager if I can apply for a half day holiday.

I was told that there was no availability.

Later in the afternoon the Resource planning department said two people could take a half day. They picked at random who was allowed to go.

This angered me greatly.

I will now not be going in to work tomorrow because spending all day today at work has made me feel worse, by factor of, oh, let us say, tenfold.

I'm currently buring up and feeling icky, I may have some paracetemol and pineapple juice and hit the hay, hopefully that should fix me up real good.
