TO OUR FRIENDS AT THE MARGINS OF SOCIETY AND AT THE VANGUARD OF HUMAN SUBJECTIVITY
TO OUR FRIENDS ESPECIALLY IN BRAZIL AND IN THE FORMER SOVIET REPUBLICS
Recent events compel us to formulate this communique re "globalism"/globalization and "international conspiracies" for the clarification of understanding and the furthering of solidarity across divisive cultures and artificial territorial boundaries. Let us be unequivocal in stating that Posadism denounces the current trends towards violent reterritorialization of the currently fluid and often chaotic social subjectivities we are experiencing under the crisis of global capitalism. The new nationalisms and fascisms underway deserve nothing but our deepest contempt and fiercest resistance. In this spirit let us clarify the meaning of globalization and indicate something of the direction for a meaningful response.
The history of the 20th century was the history of the expansion and consolidation of an Integrated World Capitalism that dominates all citizens of the planet today regardless of the nominal economic system of their particular nation. That this history played itself out under the guise of a manichean struggle between liberal democracy and state socialism that supposedly resulted in the End of History with the collapse of the Soviet bureaucratic state can no longer obscure the fact of the current state of domination under which we all struggle. The Iron Curtain did not fall in 1989; instead it was made to encircle the entire globe.
Thus was set the horizon of this, our 21st century. Its history will be that of the struggle for control of the world economic system between, on the one hand, fascist elites dominating and supported by racist-nationalist religious reactionary minions and, on the other hand, a resurrected Communism constituted by an emergent miscegenating, sexually fluid and spiritually experimental planetary cosmic humanity. With economic, ecological, and even psychic implosion imminent, there is no longer the luxury of a middle way. All will be compelled to choose. In actuality, your actions this very day, and your inaction, are the choice you are making between the coming Utopia or Oblivion.
We implore you, Comrades: Choose for yourselves, but Choose Wisely!
