Whew! Well, I got back from the convention in Springfield yesterday. I did very well - I drew lots of caricatures and two portraits! As it was a science fiction convention, many people wanted to be drawn with pointed ears as either Elves from "Lord of the Rings" or Vulcans from "Star Trek," along with some other things, too. Everyone was friendly and I made some money, which was very nice!
The only thing I don't like about this time of the year is how cold it is getting...and we're not even experiencing the worst of it yet! DOH!
Below are the two latest SG portraits I finished (just worked on them tonight, actually): One is a straight portrait and the other is a conceptual piece using the reference photo as a starting point:
CLIO based on a photo in her new "Loves You To Death" set. Look up "voluptuous" in the dictionary and there's Clio!
TITA based on a piece in her "Hat Trick" set, but in my drawing she is conducting lighting. SIZZLING!
