Hmmmmm.
This was actually a semi-entertaining weekend. I hung out with one of my old friends who I haven't seen in almost a year on Friday. She's sort of an on-again, off-again "fuck buddy" (I really hate that term); neither one of us really tried for anything outside of kissing a bit, which is fine by me. I'm not really in the mood for that sort of thing right now anyway. I drank too much Jaimeson's that night, I know that much. Hah.
And then on Saturday I spent the whole day with a girl I know from a message board who was in town looking at UPitt. We went to the Warhol, which is always a fun time. They've got some really risque exhibits there right now, even for the Warhol. But very interesting ones. I bought a JFK magnet for my fridge - it'll look nice next to my George Bush = Dunce ones.
Then we ate at a Japanese restaurant. I had much great food = edemame (sp?), miso, salad w/ ginger dressing, a sushi platter and shrimp tempura. Soooooooo good.
Then there was lots of drinking, and hanging out with one of the guys from local band Tabula Rasa. I'm kind of ashamed to say I've never heard them, cos I've never paid much attention to the local scene here; it's hard enough keeping track of the latest underground Manchester bands! But I'll definitely be checking them out next time they play.
And the night was capped off by some great indian food. A good (but expensive!) day.
So today, I'm planning on just lounging around the apartment all day; I might go see Sin City if I can muster up the energy, but I kind of doubt it.
