Cardiff was messy, as ever.
I popped down there on the early o'clock flight, and was met with tropical sunshine, which was shock to my Glaswegian system, I can tell you.
Spent a happy day topping up my tan in streetside bars and cafes, making my way through a couple of novels... then headed to Chapter for an art show opening (the reason I was there).
Caught up with some old friends and some very old friends, and also made some new ones, whilst polishing off the free Budvar kindly laid on by the gallery... Then found out that Chapter's bar was hosting a cider festival.
Things went downhill from there (or uphill, depending on your views on inebriation and silliness).
I ended up managing to make more new friends whose names I instantly forgot (but whose haircuts I didn't) as I made my blurry way around town, and somehow visited no less than three nightclubs, ending my night to the sounds of the Levellers and the Pixies in Barfly.
Top-notch.

I need a holiday. Your mini-travelogue will keep me going till I get one.
