Ahh. Back in the land of the living.
The British railway system is a blight on the arse of humanity. Seven hours to manage what should have been a three hour trip to Manchester for Asha's birthday, and four and a half hours for what should have also been a three hour journey back.
But I digress.
Report from the fun-packed SGUK night out:
The Star and Garter is still the nicest pub in Manchester. Jilly's Rockworld and it's all-nighters are exactly the same as any rock club in any city across the UK, althought the hour of happy hardcore between 3 and 4am was unexpected.
Socialite award goes to Vampsinthe78, for getting us all together in one place. Seamless award to the DJ for his truly awesome mixing skills. Dance or die award to LadyInsane's ginger-haired friend (I suck with names, I really do...). Pro-plus award for being the personification of energy goes to Asha. Lightweight award to Cavelle, and grand master of cynicism award to Abaddon (with special mention for consuming his own body weight in water. Twice).
Quote for the night was from the lovely Bob; "Jesus, I'm on drugs and I don't even want to dance to this...".
Now, if you'll excuse me for reposting parts of that liberally from my comments on Vampsinthe's journal, I'll be away back to my bed again. Must recouperate in time for tomorrow's 80's spandex-rock extravaganza at the Cathouse.

Good to meet you
Cynicism. Not a lot I can say to that. It's a fair cop
