Kapow! Fifty-six hours with a mere 8 hours sleep. I totally rinsed the free coffee machine at my new job (even though it tastes like crap) and now my tongue is burnt. My eyes are so tired I could barely read the bus number and almost missed it. I want to sleep right now but I know if I do I won't sleep tonight and will feel like this again in the morning.

So yeah - job. After approximately five hours of wondering what the fuck I was supposed to be doing for this mortgage finance company, I finally got it. You know in the second series of Black Books when Fran gets a job with the mafia guy's friend, and she sits there in the office next to fatty and creepy and has absolutely no idea what her job is about? *Moi. Turns out I have to type the letters from the credit controllers short-hand barely-legible notes on the files. You know the kind of letters i'm on about.

"Dear Mr Jones. I am writing to inform you that unless you contact us by telephone to make arrangements with regard to your mortgage arrears, I regret that we will have to make adjustments to your DD payments to get our corporate money back and fuck you up your nostril. Yours lovingly, Bec xXx"

Oh and I have to do credit-check type things and send them off to solicitors and stuff, and change people's name on their files when they get married/divorced/sex-changed. It's a whole barrel of laughs. Good thing is I get to sit at my own desk by the window where no-one will bother me and did I mention I get free coffee?

Weekend was preeety goood. Saturday I met up with Cinderella ( ♥ )and went to see McK's band at the Flapper along with the ever lovely Nefertari. Then we went to the Briar and met the most beautiful Frankie and her mr.boy and went to Subs. We frequented the retro room so as to avoid the metal fans in vests downstairs. Everyone was great.

After no sleep I went to London on a train that was fucking delayed/cancelled. Tell me. How, in any feasible way does a stinky old coach classify as a 'rail replacement service'? Bullshit blowfish. Got to London a little late, but thankfully the lovely lovely lovely paintedlady was waiting a'patiently for me at Euston. She is a love heart. We went sweetie shopping in CyberCandy where I picked up some goodies for Nya and found myself some salty liquorice. Oooga boooga!

Went to ze pub. Met ze Munch who I just ♥♥♥ and miss chique-viva-la-france - hologram - who I want to live near so we can skate in the dark and fall over, hehe. Then Doplex turned up - and what a strapping Scotsman he is, even though a seagull shat on his head. G1 was next, explaining the merits of joining Team Stupid, and then AgentBlack. Those two are fuuun-eee.

Then we went to the gig where we just didn't feel 'cloaked in black enough' to be accepted. Oh well. I ran to get the train, missed it by two mins, but felt better when I ordered a regular hot chocolate and the guy gave me a large one cause I made him smile (I don't recall trying to be funny). Co&Ca were good, but they looked slightley tired and weren't quite what i'd hoped they'd be. They did play my favourite song though.

So ja. Das was mein wochenende und es war ausgeseichnet! I am going to bed at 10pm I have decided.
