My stomach folds in knots with the uncontrollable intensity of hiccups. And though my neck sweats I shiver as do the pneumonic. My foot kicks my head. My arm scratches at my back. My teeth sink into my eyes. And slowly. Slowly. I'm clawing myself apart. Daydream lenses with their sountrack pulse. So my head feels dizzy and every vessel in my head clamps tight. Moving forwards I know that whatever I may gaze upon is far behind me before I dwell. The crown of my head bobs foolishly down broken staircases and along frail worn bridges. The feet on autopilot with a landing strip of stupidity. Senses high and floating, relucantly viewing the tragedy - all because of that little piece of string. Little kite. Powerless yet responible, because if you see what's happening you can stop it.
