didn't feel like being productive @ work today
i helped people make things, my favorite part
but when it was slow i didn't do any of the thousand shit jobs
there are to do in a bead shop

so i made a peyote stich bracelet for myself
thought a clasp would look stupid
so i stiched it permanently onto my wrist
my question is: do i count it as a body mod?

my friend dawn stopped by the shop with some friends
they ended up going to dinner while she stayed
i made her some earrings and a necklace out of a strand she went gaga for
turned out really nice, looked great on her

then it rained
HALELOOYAH!!!! <-- can you tell i haven't spent a lot of time in church
but not enough to soak in
within 31 seconds after the rain stopped
the air was so thick it was hard to breathe
you could reach out and squeeze the air into droplets

so i closed up shop and stepped into the muggy wasteland
to go and wait for the bus: WHOOPIE! (said in sarcastic dispair)
but dawn, bless her sweet heart, came by and picked me up
and gave me a ride home. she's a doll. ALL HAIL DAWN!!
