This morning after I went to bed (at about 4:30 am). I was getting settled in bed at that moment of "pre-sleep", feeling groggy. I looked over at the sliding glass door in my bedroon and there was a man staring back at me! I (thinking that I am such a bad ass) jumped out of bed, walked outside to confront this man on my balcony. He ran off when I got outside. There is a back story to this. Earlier yesterday I walked to the local grocery store. I was standing in line waiting my turn (there is only one checkout line). This same guy was harrassing all the females that were waiting asking to carry their groceries for them. I told him I could carry my own groceries and didn't think anything else about this guy until I saw his face on my balcony this morning.

The biggest problem on this island apparently is there is a severe shortage of females. I have noticed on several occasions that the local men or overly aggressive. I have never let it bother me. I have always felt that I could take care of myself. Also I live next door to the police station.

Other than that, I love everything about living on this island.
