My little dinner party went well. The food turned out fantastic. The hummus was my favorite part. Hummus is always interesting to make. Sometimes I am not sure how it will turn out. This particular batch was my best yet. 
I added a little bit of dill to change things up a bit. Yum!!! I am a closet foodie. 
Saman (the girl that came over last night) is leaving the island in December. She is going home to Pakistan, getting married and moving on with her life. I am happy for her but sad for me. I wish my boyfriend and I could afford to go to Pakistan for the wedding. He is saving money to go home to South Africa. He hasn't been home since November 2005. He is too proud to accept his parents offer to by him a plane ticket.
