Tonight one of my boyfriend's coworkers is coming over for dinner. I have decided to make Mediterranean food. She is a devout Muslim and she doesn't drink or eat meat. The special type of meat or the way it's prepared whether (I forgot what it's called something like kosher) she can't get here. Also since I am vegan I wouldn't cook meat anyways. She is the only one of his coworkers that are actually nice to me. She is given shit by the same people as I am. My boyfriend is South African but most of his coworkers are British. None of them like me or Saman. Since I am American, I get a lot of shit about the war in Iraq. Saman is harrased and called a terrorist. My boyfriend even gets shit sometimes because of apartheid. It's madness but in a way funny because her and I are a lot more tolerant even though I am a war monger and she is a terrorist. Isn't stereotyping people just fun! I am just glad I don't have to see these people very much. Only when there is an office function that my boyfriend had to attend or if by accident. I have snapped a couple of times, when pushed to my limit. Maybe because I am a war monger?!?! I hope everyone has a good evening.
