It has been a scoring hot day today. It was a miserable walk back and forth to the post office and grocery store. The humidity slaps you in the face and takes your breath away. Everyone here is bracing for possible remnants of Tropical Storm Chris. It is heading toward the Leeward Islands but could easily affect the British Virgin Islands. We will probably, at the very least, have to suffer through lots of rain and some power outages.
