Yesterday was so nice. The rain cooled down the islands and dropped the humidity. Today it's hot and sticky once again. The air conditioning isn't even helping.

I was just thinking about how strange my dreams have been lately. Two nights ago I had a nightmare, but it wasn't my typical nightmare which is generally me being emotionally berated by a loved one. This one was a good old-fasioned chased-by-a-monster I'm-gonna-die type nightmare, and when I woke up I thought, wow, that was kinda cool. I welcomed the change.
Then a few nights ago I had a dream I was smoking weed with some stranger (which is something I just don't do anymore, with anybody). And in my dream I was worrying because I might change jobs and get drug tested. I worry about stupid crap even in my sleep, I guess.
It's so easy to sleep when it rains. I'm always late for work on rainy mornings.

UPDATE: My Grandfather is doing well. He did have to have a kidney removed and is in the hospital. I have been told that he is in good spirits and cracking jokes. 
I am still deciding on whether or not I should tell me family of my impending surgery.
