So, it's looking like my free internet connection back home has vanished. So I won't be on except when I am somewhere I can steal internet--sister's place, coffee shops, etc.

But it's all good. I am hammered drunk. And I didn't pay for it.

Moj brat, cthulhusmittens, turned me on to this web site, which has the old rules for the Marvel Super Heroes tabletop RPG and every supplement in PDF format.

I am so filled with nostalgia, I cannot describe it.

It seems like most people around here are in a bit of a rough patch. I can't say I've been free of a touch of the malaise myself lately.

Then I get a happy distraction.

I don't remember particulars, but there were elements of the Cthulhu Mythos, John Shirley's A Song Called Youth books, real-life work, and even some of the old LARPs I used to play in.
