Well, a crashing and burning of adventure finding was narrowly avoided thanks to Twitter and RockinRicky. A brief summary of my evening since the last blog:
- Found out that a place with food in Capitol Hill on Thanksgiving night apparently does not exist. I forget which neighborhood I found my dinner at. It was crappy "gourmet" pizza. Pizza should never be gourmet.
- You know, I put up with the fratboy mentality a lot more with soldiers than real fratboys. I know it's the same misogynistic behavior, but I have a harder time swallowing it from an investment banker.
- So, annoyed by fratboy and disappointed in beer and food options, I returned home in defeat.
- El Rick twitters me to see if I am still in Denver. I am. We go to a bar and hear some of the worst music ever on the jukebox.
- Another bar was gone to and there... the THUNDER WAS BROUGHT!
- Then I went back to Rick's place and played with dogs for a few hours.
Today... More shit should be open, so we'll see what kind of trouble I can get into.
Oh. And no hangovers so far. I'm thinking I don't need to knock on wood, I just need to lay off the shots. That has been the difference, methinks. That and...
