austin frickin texas and the sxsw fest...
everyone needs to go to sxsw next year...

austins soooo much fun tons of interesting sights and people and fun and drinks and eats and yeah
i just had a crazy whirlwind time.
but i loved everyminute of it.
my car blew up and is in a dealership in marshal texas getting a new ENGINE.
i got adam to the show 40 minutes before it started.
The boys of LBE did us way proud.
after getting an oilchange and getting a car tow and getting a rental (yes thats me you saw in the WHITE MINI-VAN) and getting almost lost somewhere in texas...
i saw the ravonettes and the polyphonic spree detachment kit, the wrens we regazzi like 3-4times (they were everywhere) britt daniels of spoon, modest mouse (kinda), cave-in, piebald, flogging molly, trans am, the suicide girls burlesque show(bad ass chocolate covered suicide girls...
what a show they put on
i hugely reccommend if you want to have an incredibly fun time and hear some sexy ass songs and some pretty rockin ones and a little tongue in cheek while watching the prettiest things on two legs shake thier respective rumps, recommend checking it out...
damn... i got covered in chocolate. and beer. and goddamn how sweet was that show.

oh yeah i also saw
dj GRANDMASTER FLASH... the pony's, the french kicks...i hung with the guys from tv on the radio the guy from sparta the coheed and cambria guy, ted leo, the wrens lead singer...uhmmmmmmm.....
my friends met the lead guy in flaming lips...i arm wrestled and beat a guy representing austin in the name of jackson mississippi. OVER THE TOP!

yeah thats probly mostly it the other guys had better access to stuff than me but SHoooot i am not complaining i had a frickin blast and im gonna get an all access pass next time and see everything i wanna see...

oh shit i do remember that ... because it was right in front of me... damn...yeah well i dont think anyone was worried about it. i mean you are in chocolate syrup on plastic and it was late and you were dancin, see i barely even remembered its only cause you said the guys who helped me up and i remember that big dude hoisting you up onto the stage over the monitor. the rest of the show went so smooth theres no reason to worry about it.
was it me or was the sound on trans am unbelievably loud?
